Just wanting to know if anyone has put a vs ecotec motor in a vt sedan, What needs changing or modified?
Also what to remove the AC/heater unit and block the Egr crap what's needed for that?

Motors are basically identical except the EGR. Disabling the EGR system would be a hefty fine if caught....... but a simple gasket support plate under the EGR valve would do what you want.

If you don't want to run the AC than simply get yourself a shorter serpentine belt so the pump isn't driven. Ideally you would want to get the AC system de-gassed and then you could also remove the pump and associated plumbing etc.

It's not the 70's, removing the egr system will not gain you anything noticeable (except as above a hefty fine)

Its just a paddock basher (blown head gasket), 13s for $1300 drag project or future track day car, ac needs regassing so going to pull the crap out. Does the vs have the egr system? Removing egr may reduce weight, and prevent unnecessary contaminants entering motor
