I own one. . Build number 24. .Manual. . Apparently 120 made. But only 91 for public sale. 33 manual 58 autos. Sold only in Victoria. . Panthamica over silver. VL walkinshaw wheels were factory. Made in celebration for 25yrs of torana SLR.

There not made in celebration of the torana, there made to get cars off the lot.
Its just a dealer pack, like a VT GTS, VN Formula (not to be confused with the VP Forumla which is a proper HSV model), and much the same as the first BA Cobra's )(not the FPV ones released later).
Just a dealer cashing in on the nameplate of another model.

That is sad. For one thing you can't have an SLR5000 without flares. And the original idea of the SLR was to have the biggest motor the factory had in the smallest body.
That is just an abomination. Strip it out and crush it.
