VS SS Commodore 5 ltr
Hi have had the VS for about 10 years. This is the second time the ignitor module has gone. Had it repaired this time and also replaced spark plugs rotor and dizzy. Trouble now it doesn't idle well and at times dies on me on occasion. Hard to start and worse when hot. Frustrated at not finding the issue. Thought might try another module from another car, in case this is still faulty. Anyone have any ideas???

Sounds like an issue with the new dizzy. Could also be plugs but it's fairly uncommon.

Could also be leads not on the correct post of the dizzy or timing is off.

What troubleshooting or checks have you done so far?

Yeah, re-check your leads.

Numbered from radiator to firewall, drivers side odd, passanger even.

Edit: also check dissy base timing is 10deg (or 11/12 at most) in diagnostic mode.
