Vs statesman Vt commodore
Just wondering if they're the same transmission as at vt? The statesman is a 97 vs, and the vt is a 98, both v6s if that makes any difference

Yes and no. Yes they are both 4L60e transmissions but for VT they changed to a 2 piece transmission casing with a full circle bellhousing and a few other minor changes. It could be made to work but a fair bit of hassle and you are going to backwards in terms of what is inside the box as well. Better off finding a transmission from another VT or later model V6 (VX/VY).
