vs towing 5 pin connector in boot for trailer

Hi guys i got a trailer the other day and i pluged it up to the car and i only the brake lights working on the trailer. So i decided to move the wires around to get the indercators etc work. I had no luck at all. I got the left side of he trailer working but nothing on the right. Just wondering if anyone has a manual on how to hook up or wire it correctly, or some photos or anything that can help me out thanks heaps :>
