vs ute
PLEASE HELP,
my vs ute has been lowered about inch and a half all round, problem i am having is it bottoms out with only 100kgs of weight in the rear.when i had look
underneath there was about 10mil of clearence under the bump rubbers.
i then check a friends, which is also lowered and it had about 50mil of clearence.i could see some markings on the rubbers i.e 80,75,70,65,etc
with a line in between each number, should these be cut down or replaced
with shorter rubbers.:bang:

I had the same problem when I lowered my ute. I then fitted lowered bumpstops and all's good. They're not expensive from memory.

you can cut them down but it shouldnt be bottoming out by only going 1 1/2 inches lower than stock.... are they proper lowered springs and how old are the shock absorbers?

bump stops are there to protect your shocks i wouldnt go taking them out altogether.
