Just a few things,

*How much do they cost?.Both GMH and aftermarket?.

*Are there good and bad quality one?.

*Are they both the same?.(L and R wiring plug etc)

*Are any special tools needed to fit them?.

*Are they hard to fit?.

*Are there any questions I've missed?.

Cheers

Cheers

*How much do they cost?.Both GMH and aftermarket?. Around $50-$70

*Are there good and bad quality one?. Not really

*Are they both the same?.(L and R wiring plug etc) Yes

*Are any special tools needed to fit them?. No, just a 22mm spanner. (I think)

*Are they hard to fit?. No, unplug it, undo it, fit new one.

*Are there any questions I've missed?. Don't bother trying to clean them, the sensor is inside the metal case. You can't clean them.

VS Acclaim V6

GM around $90-120, aftermarket $50-70

*Are there good and bad quality one?.
Go GM, there are 2 types, wide band and narrow band, dont know which on the VS

*Are they both the same?.(L and R wiring plug etc)
yes both are the same, VS are a 4 wire O2 sensor (2 for heater, 2 for O2)

*Are any special tools needed to fit them?.
Just an open spanner, think its 17mm

*Are they hard to fit?.
Just like a normal bolt, unscrews out and new one screws in

*Are there any questions I've missed?.
Drivers side one can be accessed from behind the front wheel, Passengers side can be access via engine bay.
location of both O2 sensors may vary depending on exhaust being standard or aftermarket.

I think thats about it ;)

EDIT: NAAF, bet me too it!!

Hehe...too quick.

Narrow band is what is most common. Wide band is more for specialist applications. 90% of cars use narrow band.

Ok heres another question that I think may have been answered before but it seems relevant here. Im getting some pacemakers for my 6 and was wanting to know if the 02 sensors are in the same rough location on the pace's and if new gmh ones would fit the same or would I need some aftermarket types? Because I am going to get new 02 sensors regardless when the system gets put in. Cheers.

Yes, they are in the same place, roughly. And yes, whether you get genuine or aftermarket, they will still fit.
