VT Air Compresser Clutch not spinning

hi all, i saw somewhere on a YouTube vid that you can force your air compressor clutch to spin by shorting out (with a piece of wire) the a/c relay, now im not sure which wires they are?
anyway, im doing this to find if there is a fault with the compressor, or 2 wire sensor connected to the compressor, or if there is a problem with the blower resistor unit behind the glove box.

If the blower fan is working then there is really no reason for the A/C not to to work.
When the blower fan is turned on, it sends a signal to the BCM to let it know that it's ok
for the A/C to be switched on.

thanx for the reply, ive jumpstarted the the a/c relay, pins 3 and 5, it started so i guess its all working, must be leaking from somewhere. Also im after some
R134A gas, in a can, like the have overseas, just to temp fill it, ive been looking and i cant find it anywhere. any ideas anyone? cheers

You can also turn it on using Tech 2, I have done this with my VU SS to test the A/C.

Good luck finding air con in a can ! Every old chest freezer at work needs to be degassed and a certificate issued before it can be dumped , auto ellecies and mobile air con mobs might be your best bet , environmental mob is hard on refrigerant gas being leeched out into the air

As above...
You wont find a can of gas to D.I.Y.
The Government has very stringent rules and licensing on who does re gassing
and how it's done.
And BIG fines if it's not done properly.
