Is it possible to fit a VY boot lid onto a VT/VX Sedan, then fibreglassing the sides to make it all match? Just asking because you can get VY/VZ kits for the VT/VX, and only thing that doesnt really match is the boot's roundness

i don't know why you're going to so much effort??? if you want to get rid of or add a spoiler get a VT one. The VY is a totally different shape, i'm sure you eventually could find a bloke to do a custom job for you but it would cost a fortune and i don't think with much benefit.

no need to bite my head off. Reason i ask is i saw a car in the "My Ride" section, thats a red VT that has been converted completely to a VZ R8 (boot bonnet and all). Nevermind.

I think you will find that the bottom of the boot lid near the lower garnish and rear bar is more rounded on the VT .
