You can get the adapter plate that fits the later strut to go into the early Commodores.

I can get them, but they aren't cheap.

what about running bigger brake upgrades for a vl but wanting to run 15" rims

Yeah plus one but for VN. I don't really want to depart from my 15x7 interceptors unless I have to :( other than that, the 322mm upgrade would be on my list. I don't suppose there's much I can do with the VN brakes under 15s considering there's loads more power coming its way.. shame.

That's a bit gay :( didn't want to go changing boosters and master cyls because that's something I can see failing at an inappropriate time :p maybe I'll have to find a nice set of 17s and just go all out.. 2nd hand 17" tyres are where it's at these days anyway..

The last set I priced up were $220 I think.

You can get 298mm rotors in the VE kit too, but I don't think they will fit under 15's. They will fit with 16's though, have you considered getting some 16 VZ stockies? They look like interceptors, not 7" wide though. Not that I have seen anyway.
