Hey I'm trying to find out if I can put my 97 vt Calais front suspension into my 93 vs ute. Coz the vs ute lower swing arm ball joint has had it and instead of spending money when I dont have to. Would be much appreciated if someone could help me out with my question cheers

You can press a new ball joint into the lower control arm. But take it to a suspension shop familiar with the job, it's quite easy to **** it up and distort the pressed steel arm which results in the ball joint not been secured properly. I've had it happen once and we put a few small tack welds on it to secure it.

I believe you can also buy complete lower control arms ready to bolt in.

The ball joints bolt in, on the VR ute, just either cut off the rivets or use a chisel to get them off. The arm is a cast arm too.
