My amp stopped working. Radio works, no blown fuses anywhere. Anyway, possibly related, my car is getting harder and harder to start. I had a new alternator and starter motor put in and for a few weeks it started and drove perfectly. Now it takes 2-3 turns to kick it over. Its not flat, its like its blocked or something. Also, I can hear sloshing around the firewall, which could be water, but Im hoping its not fuel.

I am thinking maybe the battery is on its way out? I put a new one in about 2 years ago, so it should still be ok. Is there a way to test it?

Also, someone told me The ignition key might be faulty. But that doesnt explain the lack in power to the amp.

The amp could just have died. Its about 5yrs old. Pioneer system though.

Any ideas?

sounds like the battery, the amp will be connected to the battery not giving it enough power maybe.

places like battery world and autobarn can test your battery.
