G'day.

Chasing up something to fill that ridiculous hole that's left in the dash after you tear out the standard VT stereo. Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Weairy

Have you put in an aftermarket unit which is half the size of the original?

If you are talking about the extra gap left by factory headunit when replaced with aftermarket smaller unit (single DIN), then just buy a Stereo Radio Pocket as per link below;

GM HOLDEN COMMODORE Stereo Radio Pocket VT VX VU - eBay, Other, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 23-Jun-10 17:30:46 AEST)

Also, thankyou for signing up and immediately being like many other new people and asking a question without any effort to search. Maybe look through this site a little bit before posting questions. There is a "FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Page" in the section under VT-VX. It will answer many questions regarding your model vehicle. Check it out in my link below;

It took me 2 mins to find this link showing pictures of stereo installs in VT-VX's. Link Below;
