vt elec window

hi there guys my vt elec window on the drivers side wont go up ive been told its the bcm and will cost $800 2 replace i heard that you can bypass the bcm if anyone knows how please let me know if its not to hard i might give it a go thankx hedgie

its not the BCM.
replace the regulator - less than $100 brand new and your window will be fine.
do it yourself, it isnt hard.

thanks but i can run a wire fromthe battery to the regulator motor and it works fine

Try checking the switch, maybe its just the switch playing up.

hmmm ok.
maybe it is the BCM, although i still doubt it.
i would have thought all the windows would have stpped working if that was the car.
try a new switch first just incase.

ok it nearly wins put a new switch in and still no go

still having no luck and $800 is out of my range at the momment so i may have to live with it

Have you got a mate with a VT, you could swap BCMs and try that not hard to do. Dont know where you live but if you were near Taree I could maybe help.
