I like to ad that i just done my vt key pad removed the pad apart hen slowly unsolded the battery plates i then let it cool down ,i removed the battery i used a pointy noe priers to remove the plates of the battery now just look at the plates to resolder the neg one back first then solder the positive second having said that clean solder off the plates ,then wait for it to cool down place battery cr2032 between the two plates dont touch the battery with bare fingers use a small cloth place it the battery in to the two plates and way you go all working no need for code the pad well good luck and only cost me $2 for the battery from ebay have a go iam no pro and done it .
