VT PCM swap ? - haletech ?

hi

my engine is N/A ecotec .
I what to swap my PCM Delco 09356445 (VY) to (VT) Delco 16233396 PCM . because I want to custom tune my car .
what I have to do to make it works ? does it fit directly into my harness ?

and what software you are using for tuning commodore vt ? (Am thinking about HPtuners but am not so sure it will read the pcm)

what about haltech 500 ECU , is it good ? can it use stock (factory) knock sensor ?

EDIT: supercharged ecotec PCM is the same as VT ecotec PCM . And HPtuners support supercharged ecotec PCM so I think HPtuners will works on VT ecotec .
do you want HPtuners supercharged ecotec Tune ?

as far as im aware you cant use hp tuners on anything other than LS ecus

you can tune the vy software, talk to Kalmaker

Hp tuner doesn't support the vy v6's at all only kalmaker does and most dyno tuning places should be able to do it

you could go to chiptorque at the gold coast. They do the vy's these days.

I decided to swap my the pcm for VT pcm but I dont know what parts do I need (just pcm or pcm with VT engine harness (are they the same for VT and VY) ) ?

I think the pinouts on the computers are different compared to each other - just don't go plugging it in before checking it out - wouldn't want to cook your new computer.

US version only as it has a different ecu to my knowledge
