my cooling fans keep coming on and stay on for minutes at a time lately. it only seems to be happening after i have had my radiator flushed and new coolant put in it. before they very rarely came on, only in heavy start stop traffic. any ideas people?

just out of curiosity, was the cooling system bled for air after the coolant was replaced?

yeah, cool, just asking, as bubbles trapped in the system might cause that, thats all. other than that, try checking all your plugs, pull the temp. sensor out and give it a clean, go from there...

vt berlina wagon
sounds like mine
it was an air lock in my case
i removed it by squeezing the top radiator hose , until bubbles came out the filler neck
top up the radiator , as you let the hose go
