VT SS 5L for sure if its manual thats one of the babies i wouldn't mind gettin as soon as funds permit. Sound unreal can always stroke it plenty of options.
Dont get me wrong the gen3 is pretty mean but ya cant go past an aussie 5L especially when they are worked!!

VT SS 5.7L Commodore.
I thought the VT 5.0L were 185KW. But I reckon the VT Calias 5.7L.
Just listen to any knocking sounds in the engine when you first start it (cold if possible).
While running hear if the engine is running quiet. Might give you a fair indication of any piston slap.

Hmm hard choice there, 5ltr vs a calais (could just get a 5ltr calais ;)) I'd be inclined to get the calais. Its got all the nice little luxuries, its also probably going to hold its value better being the gen3. You can also get decent power outta them very easily.

VT SS 5.7L Commodore.
Yeah but with the Gen III you can get trenderous amount of power out of them without even touching the internals.
