Done some research and I think I need to replace my idle air control valve, while driving revs got low car stalled and shut off still had power through the car, engine just shut off. Aircon was on also don’t know if that contributed, I’ve also been told it’s the altanator. Battery on red like it’s drained Any ideas if it could be either idle air control valve or altanator or anything else

sorry no one has replied as yet
wont be iac if it stalls while driving
if it stalls when coming to red light etc could be iac
alternator could cause problems if battery is not good
when you say battery on red i assume you mean charging light on dash
sounds like you need to take more care of your car
address charging issue and then go from there

blocked fuel filter can do this, so can alternator, run a few tests to make sure you get the correct problem fixed so your not wasting money, first do an error code check bridging pins 5&6. any thing else change before it did this ? air con will drain the system more so if there's a problem it may be electrical.

If you think the alternator is an issue it would be worthwhile checking it with a multimeter while engine is running. Should be seeing around 14v, anything below 13v I would consider as faulty
