Vt to vy cranks but won't start!

Hey guys I have a question
Did a vy full wiring install into my vt commy.
All the wiring is in and hook up
Change the engine harness to vy
It's a auto.
The inhibitor switch are the same in the series 1- seris 2 different
Head lights working and cluster
Have a mid level bcm ecu key head that linked but I need to replace the key soon.


Ok now wen I put the key into the car and turn the ignition over it just cranks
I haven't kept it cranking once I turn it I just stop and take the key out.

Can hear the fuel pump working fine but mite be on it way out soonish don't know .
Do I need to get vy dfi or is vt one the same.


The lock icon goes away.
I need to get the car started asap.
What should I do?

have you used a scanner to match up all the electronic units

if you have one... it should tell you where the fault is

To do this your self you must know what your doing

basics then fuel pressure test / test current to injectors

the spark

It's a v6 so I got it all out of a v6
I had it scanned over and all there was wrong was the gearbox not running

Bcm ecu was from the same car with keyhead

How can I do the fuel pressure test ? Don't U need tools to remove it ?

What if I get a vy refuel pump replaced ?

first make sure you have fuel in the fuel rail before buying stuff
