got it 3 years ago on my 18th.. i service it regularly (between 6-8k). hasnt missed a beat.....yet.:thumbsup:

1998

3.8l 4sp Auto
xforce extractors > standardcat > 2.5 redback
aunger cai ($59!) w/k&n panel filter
superlows all round
tint

anyone else got a 50th?

has some mini wheels (15s).. thinking about going bigger but the stockies are cheap as chips to replace tyres..

series 2 side indicators and tail lights and a series 2 calais grill :p

Yeah the orange looks pretty crappy. . i have began hunting for some series 2 rear lights and side indicators..

i like the idea of keeping it original so ill have to hold on to the original parts too

also been looking for some sort of better cold air intake..
the cat-back system helped a little bit for power & economy, surely if its both better both in and out it would run a little better..

thoughts?

Honestly the vt has a very good cold air intake for the standard V6 motor. Will work fine until you start modding the engine a fair bit

on another note, i had a look at your ride page.. does the strut brace do much?

update.. still looks the same. maybe a little cleaner!
Got one of those "aunger" cai's $59 added a k & n panel. works well.
Also got some extractors..

current mods:
xforce extractors > standardcat > 2.5 redback
aunger cai w/k&n panel filter
superlows all round
tint

good cruiser!

update..

here are some pics of my new mods. extractors are great, heaps more zing right across the rev range. most noticeable above 4000rpm. good investment :w00t:

oh.. the grills are missing cause im repainting them.. although, it doesn't actually look that bad without em!
