vt v6 transmssion wont kick down and changes up at 2500rpm with a jerk.

Hi ive recently had a new engine fitted to my vt after the old one heat seizing badly. Its had an engine out of a vx fitted. Since i picked it up it wont kickdown anymore and the change up in drive is jerky and holds out for example 55 kph it will be at 2400rpm in second and wont change up til it reaches 2700 rpm 65 to 70 kph. Also the engine warning light is on when your off the throttle but goes out when you are accelerating ? ive checked the oil level and its all good not cooked !! Any ideas ?thanks

any codes?
idle speed too low, altenator not charging at low rpm, ecm not linked to tranecu
could be any number of things
obviously its only happened since the engine siezed?
if so likely that when the engine sized it damaged the transmision oil pump or converter would be my guess
can you take it back to the shop for diagnosis on fault as they did the work they should want to at least check its not something they have missed...
