I own a commodore with a Powerdyne centrifugal supercharger, whilst it is a major improvement over stock, I understand that a turbo (depending on turbo size) or roots type blower would be a much more suitable setup for a street car & even be better overall in a performance application (this is my opinion).

Slight correction, as centrifugal chargers certainly don't have linear power curves that's positive displacement. Centifugals exhibit j-curve power delivery.

Either way without getting technical much prefer a turbo curve.

Hi I'm josh I'm 22 and I'm due to be getting my Liscense back soon ...

I'm guessing you lost it for being a hoon, thus why you have no car. So you're going to get a V8 and charge it.

Clearly, lesson learned.

My names josh,I'm 23. I lost my licence due to accumulation of demerits due to speeding, I got my licence back, bought 2 v8 commodores, turbocharged one and haven't had a ticket since..... So maybe like me he has learnt his lesson.....

The only people who think centrifugal chargers are good are Internet warriors and people who own centrifugal chargers.

I own a centrifugal charged VT and I think it is rubbish on the street compared to a turbo or top mount supercharger.
