I replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator and now it runs again.

Sweet, so it was the sender

Used a cutdown pen lid to get the fuel lines from rail off at the firewall.

The fuel Pressure regulator sits on fuel rail on drivers side at back of motor near firewall.

Was a bugger to change, took off air element, accelerator linkages then took off air plenum, removed pressure reg from fuel rail.

Fired first pop once changed. $88 from sprint auto.

The fix hasn't lasted long. Smelt petrol and noticed a small leak around injector 1. Knew I should have ordered a set of o rings. I'll be replacing those next. Thing is car is running rough again and now I'm wondering if the o ring was the cause if the fuel pressure leak all along.
