VU Auto 2001 SS cruise control not working

Replaced the tail light globes with LED globes, and now the cruise control wont turn on. Everything else working OK, flashers ect. Do I have to connect resistors into the brake light circuit at the plug, so the cruise control can see a load connected.
I've been told the problem has developed in the brake pedal switch, not the resistance in the circuit.
Any advise is appreciated.

Hi there
"Replaced the tail light globes with LED globes" that was your first mistake,
LED Globes are pain in the ___, I did the same, and various LEDs failed, sent them back and they replaced them,
Failed again after a few days,
Ripped the LEDS out and threw them in the bin,
replaced with standard 21/5 globes,
Everything is back to normal.
Its NOT worth the STRESS, and not worth the money. Keep it simple.
