Decided it was time for a ute.. And under the new SDA i have the new p plate laws so this is what i ended up with...
Model: Vu S
Build Date: 02/03/01
Colour: Tiger Mica
Engine: 3.8l Ecotec
Gearbox: 5spd manual
Diff: 3.45 LSD
Exhaust: Stock
Brakes: Stock
Suspension: Stock
Wheels/Tyres: 16" alloys
Stereo: Stock
Since iv bought it, 2 weeks ago, iv gave the roll bars a massive polish, Painted the dash facia and fitted a ss tiger mica dash background.. picked up a ss bar cheap and have started prepping that for painting in the coming weeks
I couldnt have asked for a ute in better nic, body is nearly immac and it drives smooth as
Future mods: SS bumper, Lower , Wheels , Stereo, Footwell lights, lights in the tray, Better lights, Maybe a hardtop down the track... For now it has to stay dead stock engine wise due to stupid laws but after that whether i keep it or upgrade to a newer ss only time will tell.. feels like a massive slug compared to the ol vt super6
As i bought it...
after a polish and lick of paint,,
SS bumper sanded and ready to prep for painting..
Love to hear what you guys think
cheers, Harvz
