VU struggles to rev over 3000rpm

on the otherside of humour i guess ill head down the wreckers and when im replacing my fuel filter on the weekend ill put a new cat converter in thanks for everyone's help
its just hit 230XXXKm's so id say its due for a few repairs

Ideally you'd want to look through from the front of it but in the case of the single cat vt/vu/vx you can't cause the pipes are welded to it.
If you have a small light that you can drop down one of the pipes may work.

Would removing the 02 sensore be another way to test if its the cat
