VX boot lid fit VT? urgent question

i'm not talking about the garnish or tail lights, i'm talking about the actual boot lid in itself, i've got a VX calais boot lined up for my VT as mine isn't in the best state, just wondering if it will line and fit up? i know they're the same shape, but i need to know definitely before i get it that it will line up and fit properly

Hey bit of a old topic but i have a vx ss with a clubsport boot but it doesnt quite line up on one side what is the best way to align it? its only off by a few mm on one side

Loosen bolts holding lid to brackets, align, tighten.

Easier with two mates holding it while you loosen and tighten.

cool thanks just been out to have a look i see the two bolts under the lid just goto round up two mates

my missus almost bought an Evo 4 with a "mis-aligned boot lid" finance all sorted, untill i checked it out, and the whole car was twisted !! absolutly not one panel lined up, i almost punched the car salesman, it was scrap. He then litteraly straight away tryed to sell her a WRX !! LOL

VT-VX bootlids are all the same only the garnishes differ.

Because i dont like the red garnish on mine and i ask my dad if i could put a vx boot lid on my vt and he said no
