G'day all,

Have just taken the front wheel off to replace brake pads with some new ferodo GP2 ones that i got, was told that they fit ( by rep at ferodo and bloke at auto shop, but after taking them out find that the top of the caliper wont go back onto the mounting point. bottom is fine and there is no damage to the caliper or anything. have had to put the old one back in and not too happy. bleed them and everything... the bottom peice where the bolt goes in slides out with a bit of a pull and rotates when spun, but the top pin ( or whatever its called ) is totally fixed? should this be adjustable for the new pad??
Any help would be great!

Yes both pins are identical, best get someone who knows what theyre doing to look at it, safer to if youre not sure what youre doing
