vx engine into vs.

just wondering is it a simple fit to put a vx s2 engine into a vs stato is it the same ecotec as the rest of them what are the diffrence if any thanx guys

The VS ecotec has 2 different temp senders, the VX has 1.
The VX has exhaust gas recirculation the VS doesn't.
Neither of these should cause a problem if you just use parts needed off your old VS engine.

i thinks the trans was different too. Wasnt the vx a 9HDD?

well i just got ripped off after i bought my vs stato they changed the cluster on me it was fine for 1 month then the bottem end bearing went and i had a cracked piston and alot of other headaces so i got my engine changed to a vx s2 engine just wondering if it was better
