Hi everyone,

I have had a look and can't quite find the right information that i am after..

I have a VX S pac Supercharged 6 thats factory auto and looking to convert it to a manual

is there anything extra that needs to be done to the l67, compared to a normal auto to manual conversion...

cheers thanks in advance...

I'm not shore if the tail shaft is different but i can tell you the new manual flywheel should be balanced to the l67 as they are balanced differently to the standard ecotec and also you will have to get a manual memcal for the ecu.
That's what i know of extra to the usual stuff with converting.

What an idiot me i just realised what i said, I don't think vx's have removable memcals which would mean a tune needed

All L67 varients through to VY still use a memcal, it will still drive ok on the auto tune, but re-tune would be ideal and necessary to remove check engine light.

Flywheel needs to be mirror balanced to auto flex plate, dowels drilled to crank for flywheel, wiring fix for different sensors and a custom memcal base tune to sort all the differences.

I can help you with that and located in Albion.
