vx s manual clutch or gearbox problem

Mine clunks shifting into 2nd and when reversing but it's play in my driveshafts/cv joints (which ever you prefer to say) quite common with factory manual irs commodores, everyone I've driven does what mine does, I'm not to concerned on replacing them until I upgrade my diff

Hi just did a manual conversion on my 02 vx commodore car making a knocking noise from near gearbox i
what could my problem be and how do I fix this problem

Using Smf clutch gearbox rattle is normal and goes away when ya push clutch in and drive it.
