I got told that after 180,000 on VT and VX's that you need to replace the engine mounts.

Has anyone had to do this or no that this is a fact?

Cheers.

my vt has 120,000 and had to change them a couple of weeks ago (and trans) check to see weather the rear of the sump is hitting or really close
1-2 mm the engine will move that far and hit the k frame
makes for a smooth drive and gear changes

not too sure mate, but im assuming that it would be a suprise for most people lol. You have to think its a full day job, you have to hoist the motor up and everything so yeah. labour will probably be most of it.
