Hello all need some help on what type/Suize seals a vx ss diff uses on the axle seal on the side as mine is leaking and where would I be able to buy some as I want new ones before I take the diff apart.

Try Holden for the seals. Should still be available and will be better than aftermarket.

Lot of people just use red rtv, I think they cost around 20 to buy at holden.

?

You can't use rtv on a seal on a turning shaft.

I was thinking the cover plate, late night and too many drinks, lol, those seals are about 50 to buy.
