Hi guys thinking of getting some Chrome Door Trims for the VX SS, the 4 for each door and the 2 Top long ones each side

Question is are VX to VZ the same size and fit? as i can get get VZ ones cheaper
I figure the Doors Window Seals will be the same as doors are interchangeable but the top trim?

Any special technique to removing them?

They are all interchangeable size wise. The window moulds are clips with one tiny screw , the top door moulds are all screws, easy to remove but you will need to take the b pillar trims off first.

You wouldn't happen to know if they made chrome trims for the wagons? tia

No they didn't. There was never a Calais wagon, and the Berlina wagon used all black window door moulds - no chrome unfortunately.

If you got a spare set, I'm sure you could sand the black back to metal then polish them up.

I wouldn't be blasting them! Never polish all the holes out of them.

Coincidental you talking about metal polishing.
I used to be one.

Since l used to be a metal polisher, l decided to polish my rims.

I thought l'd better put that experience in my own thread.

Thanks, almost forgot about this post...
Yeah got them and got it done, didn't take off pillar trims, just pulled them out about 10mm and slipped them in place.
Was thinking back doors were different for some reason, must of been thinking wagon doors.

I posted in another thread but here is what they look like now
