picking up the turbo and pipes from ceramic coating today

going to attempt to fit it al over the easter wknd, but ill prob start stripping everything tnite.

started pulling everything apart last night, got the otr, radiator overflow, radiator, headlights, bumper, battery, all gone.
tnite ill be working on getting the sump off, and HOPEFULLY sliding the extractors up from their hiding spot also, and unbolting the whole exhaust. Then ill work on getting an intake pipe and mounting up the intercooler and starting on relocating the battery and computer, then fitting the fuel system.

haha thanks mate, yeah its a massive job.

the engine is stripped of all ancillaries and is coming out with the gearbox aswell, them mounting the turbo and manifolds and slotting it back in.
gives me a good opportunity to clean everthing aswel as its bloody disgustingly dirty.
will try post pics soon, but ive been working like a maniac.

Just read this from start to finish, awesome looking car mate, I am thinking of getting rid of my vlct and buying a vx ss and yours is a prime example of what im after. will be awesome with boost

haha thanks guys for the kind words, been gettin a fair bit done,
engine was stripped and taken out to swap sumps and do clutch at same time..
computers relocated, engine,box,bay are cleaned,
clutch fitted,rip shifter fitted..its all goin on now

first stages- pacies off which was the hardest..

engine stripped of all the ancillaries, rready to come out

turbo all back together, nice red+black contrrast coke can to show its pretty big lol..

engine on the hoist after a quick clean (note the shmick valve covers )

nice empty engine bay, sight for sore eyes

new rip shifter on(almost),

me sittin rather snugly and camoflagued in the bay haha

and a little artistic shot i took just cause i saw it there..converted to HDR.

tmro should be productive, will most likely be bolting box back onto engine,
-coil packs back on
-manifolds + turbo on
-properly fit the rip shifter
and maybe grind the metal i dont need to rig up the intercooler..

shall keep the thread updated
