nothin really seems to be an 'easy job',
lol the 20minute 'unbolt off-bolt back on' cat job turned into a sonofabitch today,

firstly, the car would get on ramps cause off the front bumper being too low, hitting th rail.
off comes the bumper.

secondly, a bracket supporting 2 cats is bolted to the centre just beofre the driveshaft, bolts onto 2 welded attatchments on the cats.
fair enough, but when i went to unbolt the 2 bolts to simply pull the cats off,
ONE OF THE BOLTS WAS ****ED AND SOMEONE HAD WELDED IT ON!
BOLTED=FINE

WELD=NOT FINE

so without an oxy, or any real working space, out came the entire bracket

thirdly, after lunch, 2 hours later.lol, just went to put the cats up against the hole that was left there, and they were about 30mm to short?!!!

so assuming something dodgy went on with me exhaust or somethin, i got my silicon, gaskets, etc, and bolted the new cats to the headers, then just got at the very back of the car, pushed the pipes towards the engine to close the gap, and bolted her straight up.

so no bracket, bolts done up, no worries:thumbsup:
she holds well now, all sweet, so stoked i actually got it done,
sounds a fair bit better aswell, and can feel a little less restriction.

thanks mate, yeah otr is my next thing, but then i need a mafless tune, which is another 1100..

hey guys,
got an update or2
i bought a set of hsv brakes off a vz gto coupe today
twin piston front 1piston rear with bendix ultimate pads, curved slotted 330mm+315mm hsv rotors,
for 900 bucks
i bought these as a semi-upgrade for stopping power from my current brakes, and a major part was makin it look fkn killah compared to the standard gay brakes..
so yeah cant fkn wait to get em on!
also im bidding on some engine covers also, guna paint em glossy black..
