Vx transmission shallow or deep pan

Hey all i wanna service my transmission on my missus vx this week. The guy at repco asked if i had deep or shallow pan how do i tell ???

He's a handy tip, suck all the oil out via the tube where you add the fluid before removing the pan. What a messy job if you don't and also raise the vehicle as high as possible.

Yeah Ramps are ok. Even better if you can suck out some fluid before you remove the pan.
Otherwise it's just going to make a mess on the driveway when the oil spills out the low end of the pan.
Put a wide tub underneath to catch it and you'll be fine.
