Just wondering, the Gen 3's use OBD 2 engine software from memory (correct me if i'm wrong), and i think the V6's use the same. If so would you be able to use programmes like LS1 edit to change anything in the V6's?

Just a thought, cheer's

VX V6's use a flash based PCM without a removable memcal similar but not the same to the LS1. S/C VX's kept the same style PCM, so no flash there.

In short a similar program could 'probably' be written for the n/a V6 based on the LS1 tuning software. I haven't heard of anyone doing anything as yet, apparently it's pretty tight mapping from factory.

Can you suggest anyone that might know about any of this, it doesn't have to be anyone in particular. A business or tuning shop would do, i'll give em a call and see what they say. I live in Gladstone qld so there is few people (none actually) that know this ****, i don't care if i have to ring Canberra.

Thanx.
