Following its “Date” as 10.5.01, my Adelaide built VX Commodore wagon’s build plate contains “Build No” as 01HBD followed by the number 15200, so I'm assuming this “15200” number represents VX Commodore number 15200, or maybe Commodore number 15200? Options: “AL6” decoded as Cargo Barrier (or Cargo Restraint) for - Government Order vehicles; (I believe my VX was formerly Qld. Dept. of Health), but this Cargo Barrier was obviously removed from my Commodore before I bought it in Hobart second hand in 2010. It’s sitting on 341,000 km and still going well, but now after too many years living on and driving along unmade potholed roads or uneven bitumen, it’s a very bumpy, “thudding” or jerky ride, so I’m assuming I need new or replacement Shock Absorbers. From the Compliance plate, the Model Number is VX8VK35-114-186, so I’m curious to know what the “8V” is and the numbers: 114-186

I now know that the 8V decodes as GMH and V Series
