VY Audio Controls Illuminated switches

Hi Guys,
I have a VY S and am wondering whether i can replace the current steering wheel audio controls with one's which illuminate, ie VZ SS. Is it a direct swap or do you need extra wiring?

lol...I remember that phone chat we had about those Phreddy...and you know what? I did actually have a thought about it that I couldn't see why it wouldn't work. But I will be damned if I could remember how.

I just converted mine using VZ clockspring/buttons/harness spliced in. see other strings on how i did it . not easy but do-able
