VY Clubby Console in VZ SV6..

I know the climate control into a baseline vz/vy has been done to death, but my question is a little different. I know it's too expensive to convert it into climate control, but my question is simply will it still was as a normal aircon if i put the Console from a R8 into my SV6? Or will it just render my aircon useless?

useless id recon, if you were good enough with a multimeter you could maby wire the ac button to the ac of the climate controll and the rear dimister... but withought fan speeds and tepriture, ud be wasting your time, sorry mate

Bugger, thanks man-found a complete centre console, fascia, switches etc. from a clubby wouldve been perfect! Gonna have to wait around for a vy SS or something. Dammit
