Simple answer, no. None of the wiring will match up, and it works completely different to the VT/VX clusters

unless of course you run extension cables, rewire the whole thing and have the cluster sitting on your lap!!!

Yes I have done it you have to use the Vy plug and join into the Vx harness speedo/tach ect are all the same serial data. If its a ls1 you will need to put a Vy powertrain interface module in otherwise you will have engine light problems, and for v6 it should be fine because they don't have a PIM, the only problems I had where the mode buttons not working properly and when I turned the ignition on it came up with alarm activated by passengers door and by Hotwire. Could of been cause I was using a sedan cluster in a ute I don't know I think you can disable it in the cluster engineering mode anyway. Also fuel guage reading opersite just need to put a Vy fuel sender in

I assume this has to be an ls1 PCM from the VY not a ls2???

And you say the mode button on the dash will work if wired?

I want to do this as I'm in the uk and half the dash is useless as its in KM.

I have someone over here able to edit the VY dash so can sort out any modes.

Any pics of the install? Any othe bugs?

If you wanted it to work 100% you could do a full swap and do the dash, wiring, bcm and possibly computer depending on the model.
