vy mirrors on vt

what you guys think of the vy mirrors on the vt

not a big fan if you keep the front bar stock VT, as the vy mirrors are a squarish look and will look funny in contrast with the rest of your car. Just get them colour coded if they are not already.:thumbsup:

Call me old fashioned but I prefer the VT mirrors, if they are the same colour as the car.

Was thinking about this today. The mirrors on the vt seem to me to be more integral to the design of the car. The later model ones seem to be some sort of ecnomisation in manufacturing.

The way they refined the model after the vx seems to be not really suit what the original design seemed to be about. I realise that they design these things years in advance, but it seems they changed their mind half way along the life cycle of the model.

Of course it is your car and its completely up to you how you want it to look.

There was a lot of aerodynamic development of the VY mirrors. They offer less drag and are much quieter and are therefore a great mod if you are so inclined.

yer just looks outer place IMO i like the look of the mirrors on the VT matches the rounded curvy front end nicely

I like the styling of the Vt mirrors butI have to say that the whole package, in the way you've done that does look good. You've tied it all together well with the colours used.

Even the later model mags look good. and the flute thing on the front guard.

all up = well done!

Oh and one argument that will actually always win me over is aerodynamics...
