VY steering wheel customisation

Hey guys, I have just bought a VY steering wheel (and a bunch of other VY parts) for my VU and the satin spokes are almost completely faded, therefore they need painting.

I reckon I could do it fine myself, but I wanted people's opinions on what colour to paint them. I was thinking just the same colour they were originally but I figure if they are getting painted anyway, I could maybe do something cool and different. Let me know your thoughts

Maybe paint them the same colour as the VU...

That's a pretty genius idea actually.. Too bad the car is black and the base model VY's have just a black steering wheel.. Maybe gloss black would look good..
