VY Ute temperature sensor

hey guys,

i want 2 check if my temp sensor in the thermostat housing is working properly because i believe it may be faulty....im guessing using a multimeter doing a resistance test is the way???
anybody know the specs cant find it in my workshop manual anywhere!!!

If you believe its faulty, then just replace it. They don't cost much if you buy it from Repco, Burson, etc. Not sure how much they cost at Holden. I don't think you can test the temperature sensor VT onwards.

I know with the temp sender in my VS I can just earth it out and the temp gauge goes up. But VT onwards runs through the ECU.
