Vz 2006 v6 engine sound.

I'm moving to melb soon and want to buy my friends car. He sent me video of engine revving, does that sound like healty eninge. Just want to be sure, as i cant see the car before buying.

Pretty hard to tell the condition of the engine just from that mate I’d be asking for things like service history, has it had the timing chains done? It’s a known issue with these engines... how many kms etc

295k km on it, he doesnt have any service history. Ive just seen some videos on youtube with this issue and people told right away that theres timing chain problem.

From what I have read about timing chains, I would have thought they would have been done long before 295,000 k's.
