VZ AIR CON compressor refrurb?

So I bought a replacement air con compressor but it turns out it’s one number along in the code so it’s really similar BUT the casing parts don’t line up.

Wondering if It’s worth swapping out the internal components?

I received Delphi 92182564 and should be 92182565

I'd contact the supplier and see if you can swap it.

The inner workings of the humble AC compressor are quite intricate, not sure how easy or feasible it would be to do as you suggest.
