VZ auto to VE 6 speed auto conversion can it be done?

I have a VZ Clubsport R8 4 Speed Auto 4l65E just like to know if the VE Clubsport 6 Speed Auto 6L80 can be put in i know it would bolt up but could the computer side of thing work?

It would not just be a straight bolt up job. You would need to swap computers as well and possibly modify the tunnel ??

Hmmmm.
Can you use a VE computer with a VZ ????
Though a 6 speed trans conversion would seem very very interesting ...
Can you slip in a 5 sped SV6 trans ?

The problem is that with the trans comes other junk , like with the SV6 ..
So would a complete engine trans swap work ?

Even engine swaps are no longer simple ..
The 4 Speed auto was so overdue , then they clung to the 4 speed like a dying man to a life vest while the rest of the world added more gears ..
A 6 speed swap would be tempting if not seriously $$

Might be cheaper just to trade up to a 08 Commodore ..
Which Im seriously contemplating ...
Whilst avoiding the 06 to 07 models ...

Trans tunnel would need cutting and the box is a different length . Also doubt the 4 speed computer could run the 6 speed
