One for the brains trust.
I got this black bonnet for nicks but I am not sure if it is repro or OEM.
Measuring the thickness of the support frame metal (incl paint) comes up .75 - .77mm with the digital verniers.
The OEM bonnet (Red) on my VZ measures the same.
One distinct difference I noticed is the spot welds on the black bonnet at the strut attachment point that are not present on my OEM bonnet.
Any assistance with comparisons to others OEM or Repro bonnets greatly appreciated.

I will completely forget to take a photo of my bonnet. However I’ll take a photo of my bonnet tomorrow morning, in the arvo.

None under either.
There is a support piece in behind where the strut mounts, there should be three spot welds hidden under the edge of the insulation.
The black bonnet has two that were hidden under the insulation and the two on the side as shown in my pic.

Thanks Figjam and Fu for taking the time to check and report back.

I’ll go check the Cross8 again. That one hasn’t got insulation on it.

Hold my hot beddy-byes coco.

Well. How did I miss that?

None on the side.

There is nothing that suggests this has had a crash. I have the whole front off and it’s all tickety-boo.
The bonnet looked as gross as the rest did.

Now I need to check the other one again.
